Kick the Stigma Kickball Tournament
Kickball Returns to DuBois Memorial Park — May 30, 2026
As part of the 4th Annual Kick the Stigma Day of Wellness, the Kick the Stigma Foundation is excited to announce the return of the Kick the Stigma Kickball Tournament on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at DuBois Memorial Park in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
This tournament has quickly become one of the most anticipated parts of the Day of Wellness — combining fun, friendly competition with an important community mission.
A One‑of‑a‑Kind Kickball Experience
Participants will enjoy the unique opportunity to play kickball on some of the region’s premier baseball fields:
- Stern Field
- Heindl Field
- Way Field
These beautifully maintained fields are typically reserved for baseball, making this a special and memorable kickball experience for players of all ages.
Tournament Divisions
To encourage broad participation across the community, teams will compete in the following divisions:
- Elementary Division
- Middle School Division
- Open Division (teams must include a minimum of four high school students)
School groups, families, friends, and community teams are all welcome.
More Than a Game
The Kick the Stigma Kickball Tournament blends friendly competition with a powerful mission — promoting mental wellness and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.
The tournament will run throughout the day alongside the broader Kick the Stigma Day of Wellness, which will also include:
- Community and wellness resource booths
- Guest speakers
- Wellness and recreational activities
- Live entertainment
- Food vendors
- A student art contest
- A pickleball tournament in partnership with the YMCA
Participants and families are encouraged to enjoy the full Day of Wellness experience.

Tournament Rules & Format
Rule amendments for the 2026 Kick the Stigma Kickball Tournament
To ensure fair play, safety, and an enjoyable experience for all participants, the following rules will apply during the Kick the Stigma Kickball Tournament:
Age Divisions
- Elementary Division
- Middle School Division
- Open Division
- Open Division teams must include a minimum of four (4) high school students
- Age divisions are based on grade completed during the 2025 school year
Team Requirements
- Teams must consist of 10–12 players
- Matching team T‑shirts or a themed team outfit are required
- 🏆 An award will be given for Best Dressed Team
Game Format
- Games will be 5 innings OR a 20‑minute time limit, whichever comes first
- Teams will bat once through the kicking order before switching sides
- A mercy rule will be in effect:
- If a team is ahead by 12 runs after the end of the 3rd inning, the game may end at the discretion of the coaches
Pitching & Gameplay Rules
- Straight pitching only — no spins or advanced pitch styles
- Pitch speed is at the discretion of the umpire to ensure safety and fairness
Sportsmanship
Kick the Stigma promotes respect, inclusion, and positive competition. All players, coaches, and spectators are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.
⚠️ **Waiver Requirement**
All players are required to complete a Kick the Stigma Kickball Waiver prior to participating.
Players without a completed waiver may not be permitted to play.
Registration & Cost
- Cost: $25 per team
- Payment Methods: PayPal or check
All proceeds directly support local mental health initiatives, youth programming, and year‑round wellness efforts through the Kick the Stigma Foundation.
